'NANI' NOAM VAZANA

"A musical phenomenon", as described on the Kulturbörse Freiburg program, Noam Vazana will have  you holding your breath while she marvels to sing as well as play trombone and piano simultaneously  on her live one-woman show. Now daring to take her distinct own sound into new dimensions with her  new album Nani, she crosses over in a deeper level with ancient Sephardic melodies.

 Recent winner of the Sephardic Music Award 2017, Vazana released her 3rd solo album ​Nani: Andalusian Brew on september 2017 in Benelux (Xango Music). Noam’s second album Love  Migration ranked the iTunes Top-20 bestseller and won her the ACUM album prize 2014. Noam  played on ​North Sea Jazz ​NL, Roccella Jazz IT, TEDx NL, Peace conference​CH, Blue Frog IN, Blue  Note PL, Israel Festival IL, Tanjazz MA, ​Kulturbörse Freiburg DE and​Music Meeting NL,​sharing the  stage with John Clayton, Terell Stafford, Katie Melua, Bobby Mcferrin ​and many more. 

 Vazana burst onto the global music scene in 2011 with the release of her first album, ​Daily Sketch, which generated rave reviews and the album was immediately chosen for ‘Album of the  week’ on ​NTR-radio NL and two singles ​David’s Lament and​Personality became ‘Hit of the week’ on  both ​Radio 2 NL en ​NTR radio NL. The album also won the ​Keren Hayesod prize 2011. In 2010  Noam won the Dutch singer-songwriter competition ​Mooie Noten and won the ​AICF scholarship for  excellence in young musicians for 6 years in a row 2000-2006. 

Noam continues to capture audiences internationally playing 60 to 90 shows worldwide per year in  North America, Europe, Asia and Africa. ​Vazana composed music for BBC & NPO documentaries  and the Dutch NPO network is now making a documentary about her music. Vazana released 5  studio albums: Andalusian Brew 2017, Love Migration 2014, Daily Sketch 2011, At The Dream's  Edge 2010, EP Noam Vazana 2008.
